Our WordPress sites and the GoHighLevel (GHL) funnels behind them reach 30 million+ readers every month, speed, uptime, and clean integrations make the difference. As Native Commerce’s WordPress & GoHighLevel Developer, you’ll own the pipeline from fresh install to production push, keep Core Web Vitals green, and wire WordPress data into GHL for friction-free lead capture and nurturing. If sub-1 s load times, zero-error logs, and bullet-proof backups sound like a good day’s work, read on.

The Platform squad keeps every property fast, secure, and funnel-ready so editors, designers, and marketers can ship without fear of downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Spin up & maintain environments - staging clones, migrations, and version-controlled pushes via ManageWP or Git/WP-CLI.
- Guard performance - dial in WP Rocket, ShortPixel, Cloudflare, and GHL page-speed tweaks to hit Core Web Vitals.
- Secure & update - patch plugins/themes, harden logins, automate backups (UpdraftPlus), monitor vulnerabilities.
- Fix the crawl - clean redirects, squash 404s, and resolve indexation issues flagged in Screaming Frog and Search Console.
- Build pages from Figma - convert prototypes to clean Elementor layouts that stay responsive on mobile.
- Integrate GoHighLevel - embed forms, webhooks, and tracking; sync WordPress events with GHL automations and pipelines.
- Document everything - log root causes, create step-by-step SOPs, and share quick Looms so the next fix is faster.
Must-Have Skills
- 3–5 years hands-on with high-traffic WordPress (theme/plugin troubleshooting, multisite or large-scale installs).
- Performance tuning wizardry: proven results with ManageWP (automation), WP Rocket or LiteSpeed, ShortPixel, and Cloudflare (APO, page rules, firewall).
- Elementor (or equivalent) page-build mastery with mobile-first, Core Web Vitals-safe practices.
- GoHighLevel expertise: custom domains, snapshot setup, form embeds, webhooks, funnel edits, and API integrations with WordPress.
- Deployment discipline: WP-CLI & Git for version-controlled staging → production pushes; comfortable on Kinsta/GridPane or similar managed hosts.
- Security mindset: routine audits, Wordfence/Sucuri hardening, automated off-site backups, and rapid patch cycles.
- Solid PHP, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript debugging to customize RankMath hooks, Elementor widgets, or GoHighLevel scripts without waiting on another dev.
- Clear communicator - translates tech issues to plain English, logs fixes, and stays calm when a site’s on fire.
Nice-to-Haves
- WP-CLI or Git deployment chops for faster rollbacks.
- PHP 8.3 performance tuning and object caching (Redis, Memcached).
- Cloudflare Workers or Edge Rules for custom caching / security logic.
- Experience tokenizing design systems in Figma for easier dev hand-off.
Engagement & Compensation
- 20–25 hours per week on a rolling 3-month contract (extension likely).
- Hourly rate pegged to top-quartile PH market for WordPress/GHL talent.
- Flexible schedule; must be reachable during critical windows (GMT+8 core overlap).
